1. The Calling of the Clans

It's the dimming of the day here, snow is falling down
The Old Man's dead and buried 'neath the ground
He's there in the stories, remember them well, he's there in the mirror
Can't you tell, can't you tell
Still he's with me wherever I may go
Still he's with me, I know, I know
And love, it don't come easy, sometimes love don't come at all
Love it don't come easy, love it don't come easy, love it don't come easy at all
Its the calling of the clans here, sun is going down
The pipes are sounding clearer, all around,
He's here in our hearts now, so open them wide
He's here in our song now, full of pride, full of pride
Still he's with me where ever I may go
Still he's with me I know I know

2. Sometimes

Sometimes in the night I hear a soft foot fall
Sometimes in the night I think I hear you call
But when I wake in the mornin' light
And you're not really there soft ribbons of tears will fall
Then dry up in the air, in the air
Sometimes you're with me, then you're far away
Sometimes in the starlight I'm wishing you would stay
But when I wake in the mornin' light and you're not really there
soft ribbons of tears will fall then dry up in the air, in the air
Fire embers flicker and darkness feels so cold
Shadows on the mirror and memories are old
Sometimes in the night I dream of what was lost
Sometimes in the night I realise the cost

3. I Do (The Sailor Song)

I'm a sailor, I sail on the high seas, a sailor I'll always be
But alone on the deck in the darkness, memories come to me
And I do and I do and I do and I do so love you
And I do and I do and I do and I do so love you
Last time that I saw her standin' on Daisy Hill
With the meadows all around her smilin' back at me still
And the time goes past and our love does last
And so remember still dear I will return
So keep the home fires burnin' the tide is goin' to turn

4. Cast Like a Stone

I've given you all of my love now it will no longer be
Our love is dyin' no use in tryin' I'm goin' weak at the knees
I've given you all of my time now it will no longer be
Space growin' stronger together no longer
How does it feel being free ?
Cast just like a stone across the river rollin' on its own
Findin' a nook by a babblin' brook finding its way back home
I've given you all of my dreams now it will no longer be
Darkness has fallin' no use in callin' it was all make believe
Now the sun is hidden and I am so alone
I cry for what was given then cast just like a stone

5. Homecoming Time

When will we find love again, when will this, ever end?
When will we ever know, like a winter in the snow
Like a harvest in the Spring, what will this new day bring
Home comin' time on a misty mornin' line
Home comin' train through the misty mornin' rain
When will we know how to love in the corners of our hearts
When will we ever know there are places we should go
Like a lark out on the wing hear songs, we should sing

6. Sleep my bonnie wee lad

Sleep my bonnie wee lad
Sleep my bonnie wee lad
Mist hangs low over the quay
Sleep my bonnie wee lad
Sleep my bonnie wee lad
No longer have you a Da
Fought with the clan, on fields the blood ran
Sleep my bonnie wee lad
A cold wind blows over fields and foe
Clans folk have nowhere to go
Baba sleeps while his Mamma weeps
Clans folk have nowhere to go
Sleep my bonnie wee lad
Sleep my bonnie wee lad
No where to go but over the sea
Sleep my bonnie wee lad

7. Come here my child

Come here my child don't you cry now
Mamma will come dry your eyes now
Come lay down beside me
I'll see you through the night
Come here my child daddy's gone now
Mamma will try mend your heart now
Come take my hand hold on tight now
I'll see you through the night
My heart is sore, 'cause I'm hurtin'
Tryin' hard holdin' on
Try to smile it soothes me
It won't matter from now on

8. Jason's Song

Father don't despair , father don't despair
A time will come to carry on, father don't despair
Mother don't you cry, mother don't you cry
A time will come to dry your eyes, mother don't you cry
Sister don't you mind, sister don't you mind
A time will come to soldier on, sister don't you mind
Brother I see the light, brother I see the light
Time will come we'll all be one
Brother I see the light, brother I see the light
Brother I see the light
This song was written as a tribute to a family who tragically had lost their son Jason in a car accident. We wrote this song for them. They were not able to hear it at the time. We hope that maybe one day they will be able to hear it, and know it was written with love and respect for them.

9. Empty Boats

Empty boats lie silent by the lakeside
Empty boasts lie silent by the quay
Listen to the shore across the pebbles
Are you waiting on the other side for me
Are you waiting, are you waiting?
Are you waiting on the other side for me?
Still the stars in heaven in sing in unison
Still the stars in heaven sing for me
Night time is the best time to remember just how good it used to be
See the distant shores see the distant shores
Wooloweyah Wooloweyah
Storm clouds in the sky storm clouds in the sky
Wooloweyah Wooloweyah

"Wooloweyah" is a beautiful lake in the state of New South Wales, Australia. Wooloweyah is an Aboriginal word meaning "sparkling waters"

10. Sandy Hara

It was late, late in the night Sandy Hara left home
Sad bruised face she walked on alone
Sandy Hara was found the very next day over the hills but not far away
Still still as the dark silent as sky silent as sky
No one did hear no one did hear her low muffled cry
Her eyes her eyes were closed hands pale and still
Her poor frail body face up on the hill
Sandy Hara she died died all alone Sandy Hara never went home

11. Blue Yonder

Mornin' is cool and cloudy Burke and King have left me Nardu
Feel this is our last chance if we're goin' a make it through
Lonely death I share with others desert moon hanging in the sky
Maybe if we'd listened to the black folk maybe then I wouldn't have to die
It started out with such a dream searching for the inland sea inland sea
So take me to the blue yonder take me to the sunrise in the sky
Take me to the beautiful blue yonder so high
Take me where the eagles touch the sky
Blue Yonder . A true story. We were stuck by the Burke and Wills expedition, and this song was loosely based on their story. We'd travelled through the desert and found it quite something, probably what we'd describe as a spiritual experience. We researched and read Wills' diary,
and his last words written, thus we were aware of how the Aboriginal people had helped the explorers out, but Wills' diary extract certainly revealed his respect for their knowledge, and gratefulness for the food and shelter they extended when they could. Nardu is a type of food given to the explorers by the local Aboriginal people.

12. One Winter

I loved you one winter then you went away
Never knew the reasons why you didn't stay
Said you went quickly in an old run down car
Must have had good reasons to want to run that far
Don't you know think of you at times have you thought of me
Don't you know, see you in my dreams life's not all that it seems
I'm glad that I knew you, our timing was wrong
Glad that you touched me and made me feel strong
You gave me the one thing I never had before
Made me feel special touched me to the core
Don't you know think of you at times have you thought of me
Don't you know, see you in my dreams life's not all that it seems
And now it is springtime and I'm with someone new
Late in the evening sometimes think of you
You gave me the one thing I never had before
Made me feel special touched me to the core
Do you remember the time in December when you loved me so

13. I'm Calling (but you don't reply)

Sweet Caroline have you lost your mind
I'm calling but you don't reply
Sweet Caroline please don't cross that line
I'm calling but you don't reply
This is the darkest of days I feel I'm slipping away
Sweet Caroline tears hang on a vine
I'm calling, but you don't reply
Sweet Caroline we don't have much time,
I'm calling but you don't reply

14. The Islands

Islands are callin' me now my dear, islands are callin' me now
Islands are callin' me now my dear, islands are callin' me now
I've been too long away my dear, been too long away
Been too long away my dear, been too long away
Nothing compares to those isles my dear, nothing compares to those isles
Nothing compares to those isles my dear, nothing compares to those isles
My bones are so weary they hurt my dear, bones are so weary they hurt
Bones are so weary they hurt my dear, bones are so weary they hurt
The islands are callin' me home my dear, the islands are callin' me home
The islands are callin' me home my dear, the islands are callin' me home
